NEWS: Chocolate City Gets A Court Injunction Against Brymo

The Oleku hook master known as Brymo has been handed a court injuction by Chocolate city music “restraining him from recording, releasing, distributing any composition, song, musical works or carrying out any activity as a recording or performing artist through or for the benefit of any person or organisation other than Chocolate City pending the determination of the suit against him.”

What happens to his third studio album "Merchants, Dealers & Slaves" which was supposed to be released on the streets tomorrow 25th Oct, 2013?

Chocolate City management says BrymO's contract runs till 2016.

Few days ago when he announced that he will be releasing his 3rd studio album this October, I started wondering on which record label will he be doing that? Well that's a story for another day!

Merchants, Dealers & Slaves as an album title speaks volumes. Lol....I would say its a reflection of whats going on in the music industry. OMG! Enough of this story. Check out one of the singles Eko and also see the tracklist below.

NEWS: Brymo To Release Album In October

BrymO is fond of dropping major news unexpectedly. The former Chocolate City act shocked his fans some days back when he announced via his Facebook page that he will be releasing his third album "Merchant, Dealers & Slaves" on the 20th of October. Prior to this announcement, BrymO released a new single ‘Down’ two weeks ago. A few months ago Spinlet announced it will be marketing BrymO’s next album.

Chocolate City reps reacted to that news saying BrymO was still signed to the label and will likely seek legal action if the album is released via Spinlet.
