NEW MUSIC: Shola Iyiola – Great Are You God

"Shola Iyiola, is a young and vibrant saxophonist, who has made it his personal mission to play & create songs that are sang in heaven. He believes in bringing quality music and a professional presentation to every opportunity he gets to stand in front of an audience. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter, started off playing music in the church at the age of 3. He has recorded, opened for and worked with many prominent artists; the likes of Micah Stampley, Anthony Evans, Adlan Cruz, Ron Kenoly, Don Moen, Uche Agu and Niyi Adams, etc.

Shola, aka “Jazz-man” or “Show”, is considered to be the ideal entertainment for all forms of events; but more specifically, he loves adding a touch of bliss to weddings. He has provided entertainment for politicians like Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, corporations, private parties for dignitiaries from all over the world and this is just the beginning!

"…I love playing music; but each event brings new ideas and new opportunities for expression. Weddings and concerts are my favorite. Simply because, something so special as two people, taking a decision to come together for life and unconditional love, and I have to play music that could possibly capture the essence of that priceless moment. It’s a wonderful feeling."

Shola’s musical influences are Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Musiq Soulchild, Maze ft. Frankie Beverly, Fred Hammond, George Duke, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, etc. He is a promising talent, who knows that he’s just a vessel in the hand of "The Ultimate Improviser."

"Music is such a powerful force. No matter what happens or where you find yourself in life, music is just as important as the air you breathe. The soul of man, is always seeking freedom, from the worries of life. It’s a great feeling to know that I can make people happy."
