The second bomb blast that rocked the Kawo area of Kaduna state this afternoon was aimed at former Head of State and Chieftain of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Gunmen rammed a vehicle into his convoy, firing shots at it. The report says two of Gen. Buhari's bodyguards were slightly wounded in the attack, he however escaped unhurt.
Meanwhile, Kaduna state Governor, Ramalan Yero, has declared a 24-hour curfew in the Kaduna metropolis following the deadly twin explosions that killed at least 25 people.
